Another friend’s technical drawings fall out of his backpack and you’re stunned at the beauty of the sketches crossed out and considered unacceptable. And the kid you grew up with is suddenly a wizard behind the bar, blowing your mind and palette with a cocktail you’ve never seen on a menu.

The skills build slowly, an accumulation of years of diligence, but the realization that you are a Young Master happens all at once. The peers around you are categorically experts in their craft.
